Not so much anti but advice

I currently work for a major player in the oil industry. I’m looking for a better work/life balance and a company where I’m more than a number. I put 2 applications out. Both reached out and I’ve had 2 interviews with both. I’ve accepted a offer from the less appealing of the 2(company #2)due to they were the only ones who kept me updated throughout the whole process and have asked me to start after I put in my 2 weeks. The better prospect(company #1)finally reached out to me after 11 days of nothing. They also are going to send me a offer letter. Company #1 is essentially WFH. My home will be my office. Quarterly meetings will be held in Dallas which I will have to attend. Company #2 is literally 20 mins from my house. The difference in pay will be roughly 17k not including bonuses. All benefits…
