I work in the public sector. All of our IT is managed centrally, which seems like a good idea, but is done really badly.
For about 2 years there has been a project to create a website to host some information to external users.
It's rumbled on for so long that I created it in SharePoint in a morning. It's really to roll out to users internally and externally at my managers discretion.
The shit department not doing the work won't be punished for dicking around.
I won't be rewarded for finally doing the thing.
I hate how no one is responsible.
