Not wanting to work as many hours/days

I'm working at a dead end retail job, which has been steadily becoming harder and harder as people quit and management expects the same results from a much smaller pool of people. I took it as a part time job, to make money while I went to school, but recently have either had a ton of hours, or little to no days off. During the Valentine's holiday week I worked nearly 40 hours over 7 days, and now I've had a week where I'm going to be on day 9 tomorrow, and I'm utterly exhausted. I don't want to work so many hours a week, or days in a row. I'm not in a place where I need to be working like this to get by, and most of the money just goes into savings now… no time to spend it. Basically just asking for help on how to bring…

Basically just asking for help on how to bring this up to my manager, without coming off as lazy.
