My office has a mandatory event next week, I usually don't work on that day as I work 80%. HR told me that I had to write the hours for the event on holiday, even though I dont work then. Now I not only lose a free day and have to spend it with ppl I dislike, I also lose a holiday! When I asked why they told me that the office provides the event and we provide the hours. This is such a joke!
