A couple of weeks ago I asked for this coming Friday and next Monday off as this weekend is an anime convention I plan on attending. I reminded OM today because I noticed that she marked herself off next Monday as it's also the day after the superbowl. She claims I didn't put it in writing so she planned her weekend accordingly.
There's not really a lot I can do because I technically didn't put it in writing, I just said “hey, I'd like to have x days off for this thing” and she said okay.
I'm still taking a half day Friday, I don't care what she says. Whether or not I come in on Monday is debatable. It's cool that our “home team” is going to the Superbowl, but I honestly don't care about sports.
