Oh so I’ll go AFTER work hours to volunteer for something the company gets credit for and it’s on my own dime?! Where do I sign up?!!?!?!

Pretty much the title! Team meeting today (during our lunch break, really curious of she's expecting us to charge for that), and we were told that we're going to start having 'team building' meetings. Okay, great (I hate them, but it's a thing we all have to deal with). Boss – We're going to volunteer for the around the city! Me – So, these will be during the work day right? Boss – Well, no, they'll be at the end of day Friday. Me – Okay, so there will be a charge for us to use? Boss – Well, by Friday, most people have worked a little extra and you guys can flex and use your own time! That's going to be a hard no from me dawg.
