(Old story) Work despite being awake 24+ hours

So, I used to work at a bowling alley kitchen when I first started working. When I decided to move on, I got a job at a nearby gas station. I told my manager at the kitchen that I was starting to work graveyard shift and I wouldn't be able to work in the mornings. He didn't schedule me for mornings for the first week. I was on the 2nd week of my 2 week notice and he asks if I can work in the morning on the last day. I told him I couldn't because I was working that night and needed sleep. He scheduled me for 5pm to 10pm the day before the end of my two week notice then I had to work 10pm to 6am at the gas station. After that, he had scheduled me for 8am to 3pm. He then called me, told me I was a bad employee, “fired” me, and complained about having to work for me that morning to me directly.
