I started working at a liquor store about a month ago. Said and wrote on the application that I wanted part time. They were giving me a bit more hours than I wanted. The manager said they had me down at full time. I've asked for a fair amount of days off here and there. Usually I work about 4 days a week, 9 – 5 or 10 – 5. This week my schedule had me only working Monday 9 – 1 and then off the rest of the week. Seems really weird to me. I don't know if maybe that's out of spite and they're mad at me or what. I got nagged at for taking an hour lunch one day and continued to take 50 minute – hour lunches when the person that nagged at me wasn't there. Idk if that could be part of it or not. One day I requested off was to go to Holiday World with my family but I didn't tell them that. When I got back I told someone that I was sunburned because I went to Holiday World. Maybe they they told someone that's what I requested off for and they're pissed about that. What do you all think? Maybe they aren't even mad and I'm just paranoid. They're bringing in new people so maybe it could have to do with that.
