I need some help from the communtiy. The company I work for has had me out of state for the last yr and a half. Ive asked to come back home 3 times in the last several months. I always get the same answer from my supervisor, “a month or two”. I had a meeting last week and was prepared to quit. After the meeting I thought we all agreed on me getting closer to home but still out of state mondays thru thursdays. By the time I got home I had a message from my supervisor asking me to stay where I was at and finish the job, possibly another 5 or 6 months until the job is over. My fiancé and I are trying to plan a wedding, we havent had a full week together since we started dating. I've been on the road for work for the last 4 years.
I'm feel like I need to quit as they keep moving the goal posts. Am I just being a baby or is my decision justified?
