Supervisor notified me at the beginning of my shift that they'll need me in the next day for a six hour shift. That day is my scheduled day off and I have an appointment already lined up. Without thinking I told them I could be there. Touched base with my partner and they reminded me of the appointment. I talk with supervisor and they say it isn't a problem. They then later press me for details about when it is, what place is even open on that day etc etc, and I feel my privacy is being violated. Do I need to get a doctor note? Can they terminate me? Am I screwing up here? Could really use some advice. At will State. Thank you
