Is it legal for an employer to withhold overtime pay if I used PTO in a work period? I burned a personal day last pay period. But I usually work through lunch, arrive early, stay late, etc. my check seemed to be about $300.00 short because my “OT is not time and a half if you have any PTO or holiday time on that pay statement.” Surely this is illegal? Also pretty sure I’ve gotten OT on holiday pay periods before. I work in southern MO.
