The question you really need to think about isn't “who has an abortion?”. It's how many of my loved ones have been through these losses, and how much will they lose now? How many of my relatives, friends, coworkers, people I care about… How many of them just got told that their lives don't matter? Their health is not of concern? They are mothers. They are daughters. They are our entire species only hope for survival in the most obvious of ways, and yet… you are celebrating. The only thing this does is make their healthcare more risky, and certainly more expensive.

This did not end abortion. This did not address the root of the problem. If your tire is flat, you put air in it. If you see that it's flat again soon, you don't just put air in it again and call it a day… that would be idiotic, right? Because you didn't address the root of the problem, there's a hole. Making all drugs illegal didn't end overdoses, can you guess why?

If you truly want to help, and you truly care, then you need to address the actual problem, instead of using a defective bandaid.

If you want to stop abortions, end poverty.

If you want to stop abortions, make healthcare affordable.

If you want to stop abortions, overhaul the adoption process.

If you want to stop abortions, overhaul the foster care system (450,000 kids).

This is America's problem. Bandaids don't fix anything if you don't address the problem. Poverty is the only problem. The rest is just symptoms.
