Leaving a job that was really not a great match for me . I met some brilliant , amazing co workers but they were all desperate to get out of there and truly deserved more in regards to pay . The management is what truly confirmed my need to escape and what made the job unbearable . It was a lot of butt kissing or sexual favors to get to higher positions , they never took any closing shifts so we would be there until midnight fending for ourselves, they kept serious information from us that put us in immediate danger , they claimed to really care about their patients but that was far from the case and that was major for me . My morals didn’t align with their shady ways. This job was supposed to be a tiny experience stepping stone for me but my time has definitely…

P&O row: Boss admits firm 'chose' to break the law https://mol.im/a/10646783 via https://dailym.ai/android
I am beyond pissed. I would quit now if I could, but I am stuck for the time being. To be considered a 4 or 5 they will now look at how much voluntary OT or extra shifts we pick up. I'll gladly pick up a shift if a coworker is in a bind and they won't give them the time off, but if my boss asks us to stay late or come in I will refuse. I was on vacation last week and she even texted me on Sunday to see if I was home yet (I work Mon-Fri) because we needed extra coverage. We got a new CEO a year ago and this shit was not in place before he arrived. They complain we have high turnover and can't understand why. Well this is one of many reasons. This kind of work culture leads to overwork, stress, and…
Is this your organization?
How much is YOUR time worth?
Sitting here having a thought and wanted to see what everyone thinks. People always talk about how much their time is worth and using this to help focus on a salary/pay range. I think this is great as I truly believe that time is precious and valuable. However, it seems that the equation most often lacks the full data. I feel that it is not just the “time” of the employee that needs to be factored in but also the “time” of the employer. Without the employee, the employer would need to do the “work” … correct? Hypothetically, if I was the CEO of a business and that business’s survival depended on my ability to have the freedom of “time” then…. to have an employee which allowed this would be extremely valuable to me! So… during salary/raise talks with the boss … ask them “ How much is YOUR time…

I literally don’t care… you pay us shit wages… yes what we do is important work but the fact y’all don’t pay us like we should/ I hope we go on strike because I don’t care anymore I am a good worker and they are blessed to have me working.. how I look at it. The day I get fired will be happy because you will lose a great worker. Wish they bitch leave me the fuck alone
My work was to create digital resources for schools. The work had to be a mix of tests, worksheets, flashcards, etc. My contract terms were to go into the office for 8 hours to complete work which could not leave the premises. My boss said that she had 15 items a week, and I had to help her with whatever I could, but it had to be done there. One item takes around 30 mins -1 1/2 hours. Basically, I could do 13/15 items in 8 hours a week. I was paid monthly as well. At first, everything was fine. My boss saw that I made exceptional resources and I sat next to her, so I was never on my phone or slacking off. I only showed up to work two days of the week to do my 8 hours, so I was there for four hours each day. One…
