This is how the HR b talks to me
This is an argument I hear all the time. So let me get this straight, we all know that the rich own and control the government. So what you’re essentially saying is “they created a system of spending our tax dollars so inefficiently that they shouldn’t have to contribute to it either” Make it make sense
I know there are plenty of stories like this but I feel like this may help someone along their path. A little background – I was a software engineer at a fortune 50 company with a shitty boss and low pay considering my field. The company has been extremely shady when it came to our return to office. A few days ago, we had our raise discussion and I was told I was getting a measly 3% raise. My boss in a meeting yesterday was telling us that starting next week we would need to come into the office for 1 day a week. I know that’s a slippery slope and we will be back to fully in office sooner…

I have been TRYING to apply, but none of the posting sites will just let me submit my resume. My cover letter is generic. If they want one they get a generic one. I have it ready. I have at least four references. They're all real and willing to vouch for me. I'm a huge square too. I got guilted into doing extra work at my current job, and now I want out. I'm not a flight risk. I'm not an addict. I'm not a scam artist, but every job site…
