Raised in a protestant household with good old fashioned work ethic taught to me from a young age. Regardless, I’m a naive little autistic mess in their first job, just happy they were wanted by society for once. But this call center is hell. My parents keep invalidating me and saying I am just over emotional and unstable. Both of us starting together , we got along pretty well. A few months in we still weren’t allowed to take vacation and her Mum’s birthday was around the corner. She had no idea what to do, as she wanted to visit her mum badly, since they don’t see each other that much, but couldn’t take any vacation. I work in tech sales so it’s probably starts up that do this. I’m sick of recruiters and companies reaching out to me and saying the amount of money they raised from funding and investments but nowhere will they mention salary until I commit to an interview. I really don’t give a damn how much you raised or really anything about your company. All I want to know is what I will be doing and how much you are willing to pay for me to do it. I am not going take time out my day and prep for an interview for a “competitive salary” that come to find out isn’t competitive at all.

I work in as a after school day care instructor. I have toys for the kids to play with.(can’t be specific)Any I got complaints by the parents because, I told the kids I got into a car accident. I hit a huge bump, and flew into the curb. All my toys went flying so I wasn’t as prepared as I usually was because everything spilled in my trunk. It’s just amazing how people can have no remorse I have about 600 dollars in damages. Now I might not be able to return to that school. Which means I’m out of a contract for this minimum wage job.

IMO there should be much more talk about why judicial dissolution or the corporate death penalty is hardly ever used, when it should be. It's exactly the kind of thing that might get corporations to stop screwing us. Why not make it a bigger part of the conversation?

Never overwhelm new hires with unrealistic expectations especially when they have no one else to help or train them. Of course management wonders why people quit which is what I'm about to do.

TL;DR: I forwarded to the founder some harsh criticism from the users on the UX of the app that he designed .I also gently suggested him to be more involved in user interviews in the future. Two days later, he “temporarily” dismissed the whole team of 10+ people to have time to “think” and not be distracted. I am a school bus driver. I drive to 3 different schools. I drive the handicap accessible bus and have 2 kiddos that use the lift. Every child on my bus is special needs. I absolutely love these kids and I love my job. I take great pride in providing stellar care for the kids while on my bus and do whatever I can to make their start/end of day as positive as possible. Since starting driving again this school year I have been under paid. I make $50 a day for at first driving an average of 4 hours a day (about $12/hr when the min wage was $14) and now it averages 5 hours a day which is about 10 an hour when the min wage is 15. I told my boss that unless I get back pay and a reasonable rate going forward I am not driving.…

As the title reads I just received a 3 on my annual review which is zero pay compensation.. I have the immediate sense of worthlessness, cheated and I feel sick to my stomach. How can we be treated like this?
