Just a quick rant… I was applying for jobs today and came across some places asking for credit checks…. Like wtf do you need my credit score for!? How does that reflect how we will perform at work!?!

A Project manager / product owner at my company who is very good at talking, but incredibly bad at working got fired because I threw him under the bus. And I have no regrets. On the contrary, I feel evil satisfaction. His style of project management was the following: Acquire new project Give me the deadline when the project is due and forward the email address of the client Staring holes into the air I guess show up at the deadline and ask if the project is finished So I had to do all the client-relationship and project management and e-mail conversations and figure out the requirements and coordinate our in-house stuff. Besides that, I had to do the actual project. I started to hate that guy. So in a new Project, I channeled my inner Peter Gibbons and just did nothing, so he comes up into my office and…

Here is the conversation I had with my mom about her new employee. Which one of you was this?! My mom recently hired a new employee in charge of billing for her company. My mom said that it the employee had the best resume she had seen and killed the interview. I am not sure how long the employee worked for me mom, but eventually the employee did not complete a task that my mom gave her, so my mom withheld her paycheck the following cycle. The employee confronted my mom about her paycheck missing, and my mom told the employee that pay was withheld. The employee quit on the spot, and later sent an email to my mom to notify her that she had reported the company to the State Labor Department. I hope the employee takes further action and wins big. Are there any unions out there that don’t give the due money directly to a political party? So far the most frequent response here from my co-workers is “F that I hate the (political party). “ If my employer tries to get me fired for trying to start a union here am I protected by law? Should I be open about my idea to unionize or try to keep it a secret Lastly, would anyone have a suggestion as to what it the “best” union to join. Thank you all in advance. Enough is enough I’m tired of feeling like I don’t matter and that my life’s souls purpose is to make this company rich.

Basically I got tired of spending my days off glued to my phone and laptop so I started logging hours outside of my work day that I am bothered with work related issues. Been doing this awhile but boss just noticed. My boss told me I’m stealing hours from him but is he not making me work on my days off and using my time ?? I never get any time to myself. Yesterday I had a minor surgery and asked why I didn’t take deposits into the bank and got written up for not doing the deposits on Monday even though my day off was approved and they all knew I wasn’t able to work. I hate these people.
