Got the denial email, luckily it wasn’t from a “do not reply” email. I emailed back and asked for feedback, no response. I had previously connected on LinkedIn to the individual that would be training me as they were promoted out of this position, sent a message asking for feedback, no response. How are we supposed to ever know what to work on or do in the future if we are just sent bullshit emails thanking us for our time? I had to take time off of work to be a part of this ridiculous interview process. Luckily I had PTO, but if I didn’t, that would have been unpaid time off. How can people afford to be a part of this type of process? It’s just disheartening and sad this is the norm.

Thank you guys. You are inspiration and support! HR went full Jack Nicholson's Shining after I asked about compensation range. I'll just post email I send to leadership team of the company. And it feels RIGHT! I received offer from JA to discuss opportunity … yesterday. I just finished phone interview. J was telling me how good I'll fit position and asked me all questions he was looking for to ask. I started with my questions. And J became aggressive and disrespectful. I asked multiple times about compensation range and he refused to respond. I told him that I'm looking for…k+. He told it is too much. I told him that I need to ask my questions about job, benefit package etc. to understand what compensation I'll be looking for depending on workload and responsibilities. He was firm that he will not respond to any of my questions. I told…
I applied to a job and then had a look on glassdoor to check employee reviews and my fuck is it bad. Apparently they lure people in to what is apparently a Pyramid scheme by offering a wage but then actually turn around and saying you’re on commission only when you start. It’s meant to be marketing, but their definition of marketing is going out into the street and being a salesperson. From the reviews it seems like a totally toxic workplace and the dodginess only ramped up when I went from the application process to 2nd interview stage in under 24 hours. All of this was in the reviews saying that this is what would happen. I’m planning on doing the interview, hopefully watching them squirm as I question them. And then when it comes to the “do you have any questions” phase of it, just unleash all that…
And that there are enough “livable” wage jobs for every American that must support themselves. They say this. But do they believe it?
[update] i DID get fired
This is a continuation of this other post I “MIGHT” get fired . HR called me yesterday, on valentine's day , such a lovely gift, saying i need to come and bring the workstation with me , they gonna send a taxi for the pick up tomorrow, i said no I'm on vacation for the next 2 days i won't be home and I'm not coming to work on a off day , the say ok , hung up , skip to me being harassed by 3 managers one after the other saying the same thing and I'm continuing to refuse….. This morning , and OFF day they call waking me up at 9 in the fucking morning saying a taxi will pick me up at 12h , now I'm pissed i say ” make that 10h, y'all clearly not gonna be respectful about this so let's get this over…
Worst Job Interview Yet
Last week I went to an interview for a job I found on Indeed. The job was dispatch for transit and the pay was $18.25 so of course I was interested. I get there and wait for like 15 minutes because they weren't prepared. I can see the lady currently doing dispatch purposely ignores the first call and answers only if they call back so that was the first red flag. Anyway they pull me into another room and I was doing the interview with two supervisors. Right off the bat, they tell me the pay is actually $15 an hour and A RAISE OF 50¢ EVERY TWO YEARS. I should've left at this point but I figured I would see how the rest of the interview goes. It felt like an anti interview. They tell me that I would work afternoon shifts and since our town doesn't have a…
