Recently started a WFH job, I doubt my position will return to office as I was hired specifically for WFH, but things change, I think if anything they’d give the option. Been doing orientation and of course there’s a computer based learning about Active Shooters – who could be one, how to respond, what to do in the situation and such. It really gave me a bit of anxiety. Like, whoa, if working from home lessens my chance of an active shooter, I’d much rather do that. I feel like the learning module gave me anxiety just thinking about it happening. And then I had to realize that an active shooter is a real possibility in todays world and that’s extremely saddening and scary! I strongly feel that if that alone brings up anxiety, you should be able to request and exemption to work from home. Work can be stressful…

Working for yourself
Genuine question, anyone on here who is self-employed or knows someone who is, how easy is it to start working for yourself? I'm fed up with working for someone else.
