Recently I was lightly “scolded” by my supervisor for being a minute late back from my unpaid lunch. This led me to my timesheet to check my hours online. While I was looking a saw that i had clocked in one minute early at the start of the day so in total i was clocked in for 10 hours. However, online it showed 9.98 hours (.02 for the missed lunch minute). I went back through this years timesheets and found no minutes where I had been clocked in before my official start time had been added to my paid hours. It showed the correct times but didn’t count the minutes. In all it only added up to a quarter of an hour but if they can be petty I can be too right? Is this wage theft?

I recently just moved to a different store with my same job. When I got here I realized they deliver everything by themselves instead of using DoorDash. They kept saying how they’re short on drivers and I did some asking around with fellow employees. Two weeks ago they decided to install cameras in the cabin facing the driver. Then made them sign a ridiculous waiver about productivity, no personal headphones/music, and best of all the right to record them at all times including their 10 min breaks. As expected they held their ground as many of them on longer deliveries listened to podcasts or talked on the phone to others. Out of the 8 drivers, 6 quit. Good for them.

So I’m a deli clerk at Walmart , I’ve been there about 6 weeks , in those 6 weeks I’ve never gotten more then 1 day off in a row, this morning at 05:00 one my low end managers texted me “would you like to come in today at 1pm”. If I say yes it’ll eliminate the first time I’ve had two days off . How do I politely tell her absolutely fucking not?
