Apparently Employee Appreciation Day falls on the first Friday of March. My company made sure to excitedly announce their appreciation with a generous offering of a gift card, a house plant, and – the thing we all strive for – a pizza lunch. So to share in celebration of this glorious holiday I ask: How are your corporate overlords showing their appreciation for you?

Just a story about a previous job that I had. This was meant to be a short post but ended up being a long rant sorry So I wasn't technically a supervisor, but I took on supervisory & support duties for many staff members (who only had monthly meetings with their line managers so they were much more comfortable asking me for help for everything every day instead) and was constantly bombarded with help requests the entire day – to the point where I barely took my breaks/ate lunch just because someone always needed me. I'd come in super early and stay super late outside normal hours, just to be able to get the rest of my work done when no-one was around. I was just always working and every body knew it. When I had mandatory training I absolutely had to pay attention to, I'd appear off-line to avoid…

Soo I’ve decided to do a side gig for a day working for grub hub and I was working in the month of December for Christmas break since I was out of college I was not a fan of it at all because they compensated very little for gas and rarely get any money or tips from delivery’s But I managed to make atleast $100 but it wouldn’t let me cash out cause I needed my bank info. Lately I haven’t been able to do it cause I’ve been busy with school, NOW I’m trying to cash out and it says I have no money at all in my account. They basically pulled all the money out I made from last year and said yeah your not doing getting money anymore.

I feel as if some of our hours are getting capped on checks. Later on I’m going to go look and see if this is the case. If this is the case, is this legal? Should I call corporate?
