Thank GM I will always remember this
Boss angry friend wants to quit
Friend is working uplifting and works as as a part timer at a Japanese bath house cleaning overseas. She wanted to quit because the Japanese owner would often write in group chat and imply my friend did something wrong without directly addressing the issue or confronting my friend, when actually it wasn’t my friend’s fault. So anyway my friend resigns, the Japanese owner tried to ask my friend to stay due to short staff lately. Accused my friend of being rude and asked if my friend ever worked in corporate before (yes my friend works in corporate in Japan). Owner said in corporate you’d go and ask the owner for advice in your career before quitting – I mean we’re talking about career advice on mopping floors here hahaha
What are investors doing with their high-profit margins made on the backs of the working man? They are using part of the money to buy up all the available housing to drive up real estate prices making homes even LESS affordable. I am posting this because I just can't believe the audacity of the bank I work for sometimes. All in all they are a terrific company, but since our last merger there have been some disturbing changes. They are making account opening so incredibly difficult people are choosing to open accounts elsewhere rather than sit for 2 hours waiting on approval from compliance on their documents. Because of this, new employees have an incredibly hard time navigating after the brief training provided. Now, I get an email saying that they have decided to create a “mentor” program where I am expected to train new employees for 30-45 minutes 1-2x per week. I am not a trainer, I myself open accounts in the branch and somehow figured out the ways to avoid issues after opening along with a few other senior folks. I have no problem helping out my new teammates…
