Cost of Living Now Outweighs Benefits

New place that hired me seems sketch
I recently got hired at this bar. I only have serving experience and they were bartenders only but they said they would train me. They told me to come in for a few hours the next day after hiring me. I didn’t know if it would be to do initial paperwork or what? I had only filled out an application at this point, nothing more. My first day, no paper work and I end up being on my own, helping as needed, not much training goes on. They pay me 60 bucks at the end of the day for 7 hours? I mentioned to someone that I never clocked in which I thought was odd (or did paperwork) I was essentially doing the other bartenders favors / whatever they needed. I’m just kind of frustrated
I like my job, it pays not quite a living wage, at $20-21/hour ($16.50/hour with tips adding up to $3-4/hour on average.) I sit at a counter, and I deal with often more money than I see in a year because I’m dealing with drunk people with fuck you money. It’s Casino work, and there’s nothing wrong with it. I got poked by a friend with a WFH opportunity that pays the same, but untipped ($21 an hour) that just allows me to work on side projects when I have time. I work Graveyard shift currently, and am asleep during human hours normally. I can’t leave my current job because I’ve been sort of housed (defined here as not crashing with a friend or parents) for the last year or so, and I’m trying to get into housing. Housing is just fucking expensive. I can afford up to $1000/month in…
