Context: got an offer letter for a decent sys admin job but pay is meh and pretty sure they won’t accept my counter offer. (If they do I will accept and start). There is another position I am waiting on that I have everything done except the manager interview who decides if I come on or not and it pays really well and I’m confident I’m one of the best if not only qualified person for the job. Would it be a dick move of me to take the first job while I wait for the other one? This is all considering if they accept my counter offer. They did ignore my original request and offered me $4000 less so I’m not sure whether or not this is something I should take into consideration.
Worth a read. The peasant’s rebellion.

Received my $0.39 wage increase today, like the title states, 1.5% when over half my performance review ratings were exceeds expectations. I'm happy I received an increase, but tough to stomach when the VPs and CEO earn well over 6 figures, and receive 4%+ for an increase. Thanks for listening to my rant.
ALWAYS add relevant text to reviews. I’ve noticed time and time again, that when a crappy business goes viral and the reviews inevitably start pouring in, the ones that get removed are the no-text one star reviews. A certain shop blew up last night due to an Indeed review response, and I watched its rating go from 4.5 to 1.9 to 3.2 stars. You know which reviews are still up? Exactly.
