So we all are in agreement that the Democrats are just corporatist right? They've proven themselves to throw away the interest of the working class as soon as elections are over. Any true workers party would have to be egalitarian in nature. Meaning any and all minorities (yes, that means trans people) would have to be fully represented. How interested would you personally be in joining, promoting, participating, and voting for such a party?
I’m a part of the problem
I was on an thread on r/nottheonion where people were talking about personal responsibility. I want to be honest with myself. I'm not only a part of the problem but I'm a whiney hypocrite. I don't have much time so I might edit this and add more later. The first thing that comes to my mind is the amount of fast food I eat. I go multiple times a week to fast food restaurants that underpay and most likely mistreat thier employees as well. Here's the thing. I don't drive. It takes me 15 extra minutes to go to one of these places (the only one with a consistently open dining room after 6pm) I could make my own burger and fries, cheaper, faster and better (better ingredients) at home. This is just one example in my life where I support businesses that harm their employees where I personally would…
I feel tricked, trapped and desperate
So recently a lot of things has happened, I basically told management that how people are treated isn’t right and thing have to change. I manage around 45 FTE and believe me we are not even close to competitive salary but we’re good at burning out people. Alright after back and forth they have decided to raise my salary – and promised to improve other things. That happened last November, now all of a sudden I should hire a deputy, having a deputy makes more than sense but we have not a single position in our company that would have a dedicated deputy that would only fulfill such role. So I think it’s quite obvious the want me to be replaceable within a minute. I’m so done right now with them – after years of nodding, serving and countless over hours here I am. I guess I’m gonna try to…
It’s been about 2 weeks and I’ve got this overwhelming anxiety about going back, I hate it so much that I’m trying to see if I can quit. I’ve got a new job lined up just waiting on the contract and start date. I get paid next week so thinking to just leave after payday.
Once Carlos died, they put a guard on the virtical boring lathe and went safety crazy. Otherwise…. this is the story of two men, who were just trying to provide. Carlos Alfonso was said to have died at exchangers on his own accord without having anything to do with the work environment according to this link When the investigation took place they never accounted in that Carlos was late that day for work because he had locked his keys in his truck he said. When he arrived the supervisor rode his ass about being late and was yelling at him. Nightshift had set up the vessels differently than usual compared to what Carlos on day shift was use too, he was angry at the foreman as he started his shift, he was just really having a bad day Because he went into work hot headed for being yelled at over…
