Sometimes it feels like we are all trapped. The bosses had to be suffer hardships to become bosses and now the need impose those hardships on you to validate their past suffering. It's almost as if they made the environment healthy and functional, that means whatever they sacrificed (because of the unhealthy environment they developed their careers in) was pointless. Working Sucks!
I despise going to work everyday! It's such a waste of time and I'd rather be doing a million other things. I hate waking up early for work, I hate getting dressed for work, I hate having pointless conversations with my coworkers and I hate doing a job that doesn't improve my life in anyway other than filling my pocket. Working sucks and everyone knows it, people just pretend that it's normal to wake up and do something everyday to make a living. It's no different than children going to school. Most kids hate school because it's forced and they don't have a choice but to go. They hate doing mundane assignments, following a pointless schedule, scarfing down food in less than 30 mins and being told what to do all day. School just prepares you for the shitty workforce you have to deal with after you graduate. Who designed…

What’s your best “antiwork” story?
I LOVE reading comments on here about how you put it to the employer. Told them where to stick it, or fucked them in some way, shape or form. I figured as a little morale boost we could all share our favourite experiences.
How much is your labor worth?
Obviously this is just one snapshot of labor at my Starbucks, but I did the math on our revenue/labor. That’s on a Thursday, not even a busy day for us. We used 90 hours of labor to rake in $8760 sales. I know there is about a 30% profit margin. So 30% of 8760 divided by 90. For every hour of my labor they make about $29 off of me. They pay me $12/hr. They pay me less than half of what my labor is worth. Not in a position to quit, but fuck.
