I work on an Assembly line and our breaks are 12 minutes, 15 minutes, 12 minutes. It’s ridiculous we don’t even get at least a 30 minute lunch. Fuckers just want every second of profit .
Leftism is not inhibited by unpopularity
so, I got comment response on a since deleted post earlier today. the subject was the inherent leftist roots of anti-work and the person I was interacting with seemed to be promoting the mind that we must tone police ourselves and play nice in order to grow the movement. I just wanna get this out there for all the die-hard liberals in this sub. the non-proliferation of of leftist ideals and policies in not the result of some fault of leftism (except maybe that we already play too nice). the hegemonic powers that be, usually some flavor of right-wing elitism, actively stamp out the proliferation of ideas, movements, ideals, and policies that would benefit the general masses. this is because, by the nature of a financial economy, wealth NECESSITATES poverty. if money is finite, in order for one to have more, some other must have less; furthermore, as the pursuit…
Long story short, I am employed at a very shitty company, thay treated me poorly. They push harsh targets on us and since I know I won't be staying I can't give a fuck about meeting the targets. Unfortunately I do need money so I can't quit on the spot or put my 2 weeks notice in just yet, I also don't want to be punished by being forced to come back to the office or having daily talks with the higher ups, so I am kinda forced to do the tasks I no longer care to complete. What to do? :C
I work as a teacher and currently have a fulltime job but don't get paid as much as I should be making with my years of experience since I'm like a fulltime sub. I saw a job posting at a school I really liked advertising fulltime for a few months with opportunity to continue. Applied and got the interview plus a callback but was told the fulltime was offered to an “internal applicant” but a partime job opened up. This told me right away that they probably 99% already knew this was going to happen before the interview. They offered me the “new” part time position but again I have a fulltime job right now with benefits which THEY KNEW. However if the part time job got close to offering me as much as fulltime heck I'd take it. They gave me a number for what I would make and…

I absolutely bombed my interview
I just completely fucked it. I believe in myself. I know I could do the job but it just feels like every interviewer wants perfection. How would you go about letting this go and keeing your spirits up?
Documentary: The corporation
For context, I work at the in-house bank of a pretty successful local car dealership, and the department head in question runs two Buy-Here-Pay-Here lots along with the bank which I work for that finances all of the deals for said BHPH lots. Granted, he is a pretty nice guy. Easy to work with, pretty smart and practical, and I like working with him quite a bit. He's genuinely a good dude to work for, so I can understand people wanting to get him something nice come Christmas. I was in a bit of a financial bind at the time, my wife was student teaching to finish her degree, which is an unpaid internship. We were able to borrow enough from a 3rd-party student loan company to cover her half of the bills while she worked almost 60 hours a week between meetings, lesson planning, grading, etc. literally for free,…
