My previous employer I was with for 4 months. Throughout that time, I worked with the CMO, we chatted every day, and got a ton of work done.
Things started getting weird.
She started telling me way too much about her personal life, said that she hired her daughter to work under her, literally cried on the phone to me, talked trash about everyone in the company to me, and I finally got a little concerned.
I went to HR to let them know my boss was crying on the phone to me because of how her boss talked to her. The same day, the CMO called me and apologized to me line for line about what I discussed with HR. After that moment, she ignored all of my messages, pretended not to see any of my work, belittled me on every single phone call.. it became very obvious that HR, who I recently found out was good friends with her, went straight to her with what I said.
Then, as expected, I was fired about 2 and a half weeks later without explanation. One of the employees reached out to me and said that the CMO went around saying “I didn’t do any work” and that “I deleted my work when I left” which contradicts itself, then she was able to go into my task board and see about 3 weeks worth of work that I’ve been tagging her in constantly while she ignores it.
It’s very clear they fired me over the CMO being petty, and HR disclosing private information.
I’m not trying to file a lawsuit or anything, but I want to put them/her on blast for it. They did that the day I paid rent, took my health care and everything. Really put some stress in my life. In my opinion, she doesn’t deserve to have a job at all.
How can I go about making this public so she feels a quarter of the pain she’s caused me?
