People suggesting a “compromise” of canceling *future* student loan interest rather than canceling *current* student loans entirely and immediately are astroturfing

There is no legitimate “compromise” to this crisis. Either cancel the loans, or don't. Anything else is political theater to delay, disrupt, and distract from the overwhelming problems we are experiencing. We are past the point of clever solutions and placating ideological obstructionists. Put up, or shut up.
