“Awful. I am a former employee and while I was there I jumped through the hoops then reported people for breaking policies and mistreating others and uncanningly like Evan Seyfried (I was admitted just 3 days before this man committed suicide under very similar circumstances), received stalking (shopping carts and other items outside my residence), retaliation from management and coworkers along with various forms of daily harassment. The district manager at the time sent out an email to his store managers to cut it out with the rumors and I didn’t find out until much later. They don’t discipline or fire store management for being abusive, just move them to a different store. I can’t speak for the new members of management, during this time 2 were relocated (Tim K. and Sharon B.) so there’s some new faces here. After my LOA including my (thankfully only) 4 day long hospitalization/monitoring and a tedious back and forth with HR with new problems then a relocation, I pulled a good ‘ol McMullen and treated myself after all this covid stress, a self promoted customer in my case! Alike all local locations, only Meat and Deli have a union, and only sometimes they’ll help you. They had me call Magellan 3 times within 2 weeks due to my struggling with the increased workload without a lead combined with harassment, it didn’t help. A lot of my posts which I keep vague as possible keep getting censored or blocked for unknown reasons. Just want to say this now, many aspects of my story are almost linear by the day with the events in the Evan Seyfield lawsuit. Different store, different state, different people, different topics and different means of abuse. This place builds breeding grounds (look up industrial human capital flight, if I try to explain it it’ll sound bad) for hostile work environments and abuse. Especially during covid. I was (lucky enough to be) admitted to a mental health hospital outside my metropolitan area due to my condition at the ER the day previous. I was having suicidal ideation and constant surveillance by hospital staff at the ER until they arranged a ride for me to the facility. This was easily the most near death experience I’ve had. My tipping point was not wanting to burden or not deal with my situation appropriately with not receiving medical care, I needed a trusted human constantly present to make me feel safe. The harassment had gone way, way too far. I have witnesses and photo accounts of my story I plan to publish with certain information redacted. I don’t want to play that role in anything by sharing. I have images and witness accounts.
