Ok so long story short my boss wants me to wear jeans to work tomorrow.
Now you might be thinking that's no big deal, but it makes a HUGE deal when you're a bricklayer working out in the 30 degree heat for 8 hours.
I can't wear jeans or any kind of pants when I work outside. Period
So my boss calls me today and says I need to be in jeans tomorrow or he's gonna send me home….mind you, the last time I wore jeans to work in the heat I got heat stroke, which he was there for. He knows I get overheated when I wear too much
I have worn shorts on the job site NUMEROUS times before with him around, and he has not once said anything to me about it.
but now all of a sudden he wants me to wear jeans….which he KNOWS make me overheat
and the kicker?? his buddy shows up to work with us ALLL THE TIME in shorts
so why is it one rule for him and another for me?? What do I even say to this guy??
I'm actually pretty pissed about all of it if you wanna know the truth
