Make a Change
I’d like to propose a simple mass protest. There are way to many stories out right now of employers screwing over employees and not enough action. It’s incredibly difficult to coordinate a mass walkout so I want to suggest something very easy as a start.
A poll on WorkersStrikeBack lists two companies that do not have $15 as a starting wage. Simply choose which of the two you would like to protest. Whatever the result is on Monday, do not purchase from them until $15 is the average starting wage across as the country. Feel free to spread the word if you’d like.
