So I work at a hospital doing supply chain, my main job is stocking supply rooms but often they have me doing “receiving” (unloading fed ex and ups trucks and a whole bunch of opening boxes and paperwork) it sound simple enough but it’s really overwhelming, I suffer from bad anxiety and whenever I have to do reviving my anxiety is terrible and I feel miserable, I’ve felt like walking out so many times now, the coworker I have to work with isn’t the most pleasant person either so that makes it even worse, but seem like my supervisors don’t care tho, I’ve stayed overtime, I’ve been a good worker, never had an issue, I literally did a 15 hr shift last Monday because there was no one to do second shift but they ignore my request to not do receiving anymore, even tho they have other people that can do that job other than me, at last resort I am thinking of getting a doctors note excusing me from doing that job and if they don’t wanna accept that I plan to go to HR, and if that doesn’t work I’ll quit, please don’t tell me to just man it out because I have maned it out many times and I’m sick and tired of it now, any thoughts ?
