Pregnant SO’s Job replaced after medical leave

To further clarify the situation, my girlfriend was told by her doctor not to work for a couple of weeks (8 weeks) to reduce stress for her and our baby. She was told she had a low chance of having children in the first place. She works at a upscale restaurant and came back to and was told by the new boss “I’m sorry but we had to replace your spot with someone who was able to work and is more reliable” this boss is very anti children and has no kids of his own. Before he became boss (he got a promotion cause the Original boss left) he essentially critiqued her for having kids and said it was bad for her career.
