Pretty sure I was fired via email on a Sunday

I started a new job last week. I also happened to get sick. Shit happens and I explained to my boss what was going on. She seemed cool with me missing a day or two, even told me to stay home and get rest. Then I get an email on Sunday outlining how calling off is a bad look, as are the appointments I requested off. Ok weird. Email concludes saying that I need to be fully available without exception for my first 90 days of employment and if I can’t accept that we should part ways. But like. I was sick. Never have I had a job where the boss telling you to stay home is a fire able offense.

Anywho. I sent an email to both my boss and hr explaining my side of things and that I need clarification on if I have been fired or not.

Well, my shift was supposed to start 5 minutes ago and I haven’t heard anything.

I didn’t sleep at all last night due to anxiety/lingering illness.

I just don’t get it. I loved the job and really wanted to be there for a while. I can’t control when my body decides to vomit for hours. Blah.
