So nearly a year ago I left a really toxic company (Meggitt Aerospace).

I left because of workload, poor pay, terrible treatment to employees before, during and after the pandemic, etc. you get the picture.

We were a team of 7, and the trigger to my quitting was a “reorganisation” of the company that saw most of us demoted and with the salary frozen (after 2 years of no pay raises because of pandemic).

They hired 2 more people before i left and then hired a replacement for me for way less pay.

I recently had a catch up with previous coworkers and they informed me that both my replacement and one of the two new people had already left, the other new girl was leaving soon, another out the old ones was on long term sickness, the two junior employees were looking for another job and two of the three other people in my former position were just waiting for a bonus payment in September to hand over their resignation.

And i, for one, can’t be happier… screw meggitt
