Alright so I was working at a nursing home for quite some time and it was a really terrible place to work at because of management, and on top of that we were extremely short staffed. My boss at the time told me 1 on 1 that if I worked these crazy shifts and picked up other peoples work too he would give me a huge bonus. Well I had already put my 2 weeks in and I worked every shift he wanted me too and now I no longer work with the company I was supposed to be paid this bonus in June and it never showed and every time I asked my ex boss about it he said it was just an error and I’ll get it on the next paycheck but it never came. Come to find out now HR was not aware of it so they will not pay me the bonus for working all that extra time and I have screenshots of my ex boss stating that he promised I’ll get the bonus and how much it was and everything. What can I do about this?
