Purposely ruined an interview today

Already had a job lined up that I had gotten hired for the day before. I don't like burning bridges but I also don't like unprofessionalism from employers and I believe they should be held accountable when they don't hold to the same rules and guidelines as they expect from us. The company in question had already promised a phone call to set up the zoom appointment the day before. I gave them the full day and then had to reach out the following day (yesterday) to actually finally get the details. Fast forward to this morning, I was in the zoom lobby 10 minutes early as requested, the recruiter was 5 minutes late into the zoom meeting. She said hi username (yes it's still ridiculous) my first question was, do you know what time it is? You're 5 minutes late to a zoom meeting that you required me to…

Already had a job lined up that I had gotten hired for the day before. You're 5 minutes late to a zoom meeting that you required me to be 10 minutes early to. Furthermore, I expect a level of professionalism from my prospective employers the same way you expect it out of your prospective employees. If I had set an appointment, showed up late and previously set a time for a callback and then made it so you had to reach out to me the following day you would have passed on my hiring process. Thank you but no thank you, you're not a company I can see myself working with and then I ended the call. Would I have done this if I didn't already have a job lined up? Probably not. And I wouldn't advise the same for anyone else. I do feel vindicated and hopefully they'll treat the next prospective employee better. We all need to know our worth, the major positive I've seen come out of the pandemic is that employers are finally scared. The work force is waking up and I hope we all keep this movement going. I quit my $57 an hour sheet metal job and moved to Alaska and am going to spend my summer at a fishing lodge, bartending with what seems to be the greatest company I might have ever worked for for a lot less money but I can already see my happiness and peace level raising through the roofs. The employers are family owned, have already bought my fishing licenses and are incredibly engaged, down to earth and genuinely good people. Was even offered a ride up from a son in law if I couldn't make it to the lodge. I hope the same peace and happiness for everyone here.
