So I had put in my two weeks at a home builder and got a job that pays close to 6 figures, almost at a goal I’m trying to attain, but I digress. Today was my last day and I had trained my co workers on what all I did and got them ready to go for when I left. I had to take a pre employment screening for my other job today anyways at 2 and was already planning on staying till lunch but I decided to just go in, make sure everything was ready, packed my stuff and then left after two hours. By this time I had already received my last check. Was I wrong to do this?
Thought my boss and I were on good terms but he sends me a message saying:
“Oh wow! you came in and left at 9:30! And we paid you for a full day, goodbye and good luck.”
What is everyone’s thoughts on this?
