I have seen it played out over and over again on this sub, but I got suckered into giving my two weeks at Gunslinger Custom Paint in Golden, CO.
I gave my two weeks notice and was invited to not come back over a text message from my direct supervisor at the end of one week. It is a very good thing that I don't need the money from the three remaining shifts , but, good lord, these people have absolutely no respect for anybody who comports critical thinking capabilities.
This is from the same people who offer $18 an hour for skilled labor and complain that “nobody wants to work anymore”. I made significantly more than that, so it's no small wonder they were so excited to see me leave. Okay, then, BUH-BYE!
