Got put on a performance improvement plan on the 9th, with the first time getting any sort of negative feedback about my work on 2/7. I also gave them notice that I have a major medical issue that landed me in the ER over the weekend on 2/7 as well.
I’m also going on vacation all next week, which is included in the 30 days I have before the end of the PIP.
I know this is prob the way they’re covering their ass before they fire me, and I’m looking for a new job, but ugh. I’ve only been here since September, was never really trained, and have assumed I’ve been doing well up until this. And this is the best pay and benefits I’ve ever had, and I’m bummed about the whole thing.
