I work at a big organisation and last year my dept was 'restructured' which was a sneaky way of firing people. They essentially dissolved all jobs of 2 types and made us reapply for crappy, vague roles. The entire process was a farce with the ringleader openly bullying people, forcing her way into the interviews when she had nothing to do with the jobs and being very underhanded and sneaky. A group of us complained to our chocolate hammer HR who did nothing except tell the in house counseling service to prioritise our division because so many people were having breakdowns/going off due to stress.
We made a formal complaint via unions and one of the results is the woman was fired. Now the organisation is dragging on the process hoping we will go away or settle and thr rumor is that the wench has moved to the NHS and I can only hope she can't so the same damage if its true! I feel so sorry for her future victims and am incredibly angry at the spineless complicity of the management :/
