Question/Discussion starter for you all – my friend accepted an unpaid position at a startup but wants to get out of it.

Lol hey all, so I know what you're already thinking… “unpaid position? cripes. wow. get out of it immediately!” I kind of told her that too, actually. Let me give you the run down. She sees this student led non profit and sees it as good experience. She interviews, gets onboarded etc. but it's, of course, not as she expected. And she also feels like there's quite a bit of ultra-seriousness and work for such a small student run org. It's a registered nonprofit too, so she feels like she is obligated to stay for a while. How do I help her get through this and get her out before she potentially faces legal issues? She feels like just ghosting them all is a good solution but maybe not. This is ultimately stupid as heck. She's not getting paid for it, and even if she can afford to do a…
