For me, yes. It happened yesterday.
I was taking a nap before my shift at 10am for my new 2nd job at Coca-Cola. Before I grabbed my stuff to get ready, I get a phone call from my ex-employer ABM Industries from Dulles Airport, whom I quit a month or two ago.
Why?
They asked me if I had second job already? I said in response.
“Yeah, I do and it's a whole lot better and I love it here because they enforce Civil Rights Act 1964 Title VII, where all employees of all race get treated fairly and equally. Which is something you guys couldn't do when I worked there!
Yup, those were my words. They wanted me to come back and for what? Clean the toilets and get racially profiled again by being called “Jose”.
Hell No! I had been working for Coca-Cola for a week and I have no issues with management. Everyone gets treated fairly in the warehouse and no one judges.
So thank you, Coca-Cola for accepting me as your worker and taking me away from the toxicity I had experienced from IAD.
What about you guys?
