So. Apparently I missed the deadline for open enrolment for insurance even though was ignorant in how to sign up. So I have to wait another year (oct 2022) to sign up. No problem. I can always get a short term plan until then.
Their policy states that we have to be employed a year before we can receive FMLA and I assume short term disability goes along with that.
I’ve had some medical issues going on and I’m worried that if something happens, I will be out of a job due to not being able to work. Any advice on this?
