Hey everyone! Please forgive me if this sub isn't the right place for this post. I'm just looking for some opinions and some help. I figured with how large this sub is, there may be some software devs here who used to work at Amazon and could answer my question.

I'm a junior developer and was recently contacted by a recruiter for Amazon. It's not an official job offer yet, but I've been looking for a better job since my current one barely pays me a living wage and I was thinking about applying/interviewing. However, I've heard that Amazon has a bad reputation in the job market in all different kinds of careers. (Not surprising). Is it a good place to get started in this field? Even short-term just to get more experience? Will it look good on a resume? Thanks for the help and opinions!
