“Quiet Quitting” and “…special projects, as required”

Nearly every job description I’ve seen has this catch-all clause: “Special projects, as required” or something to that effect. So basically if you don’t do literally everything the boss asks of you, you aren’t doing your job. Since the job description is bottomless, one can’t really “quiet quit” because the job description has no parameters. It’s bullshit.
