I’m not sure if this belongs in this thread. I just wanted to talk about it.
3 weeks ago, I got a second job. I can get by with my main job, but I wanted extra money to pay off debt faster. The day I applied, I interviewed. I started 2 days later. During the interview, I told them my availability & the days I would need off for a trip in August. At first, they had no problem. 4 days ago, they stopped listening to my availability & they wouldn’t approve a vacation I booked in January.
I quit. I still want a second job, but I have to do it on my terms. I refuse to become exhausted, depressed, & burnt out over a job I don’t need.
Thanks for listening. Any kind words would be helpful, I’m feeling disappointed in myself.
