Quit my job and I want to thank you all

Title says it all. I worked for almost 19 years at a major home improvement retailer. There were ups and downs, some great managers and some human trash fires. My particular position was so stressful it was killing me, just leaving me a husk of a human being. I’d thought about quitting hundreds…maybe thousands of times. Considered suicide over quitting at points, believe it or not. Well…the great resignation came along and I found r/antiwork. You guys gave me enough stories about sticking it to shitty jobs, walking, and getting something better that it gave me hope. So…I did that. Got a job at a local competitor. More pay, better benefits, kinder company culture, more company dedication to excellence. I know someone who works there who verifies that these things aren’t just hiring manager BS. I start in a week, and I’m excited. I wanted to take a minute to…
