Just handed in my notice to my employer. It's been getting bad for months now, but I'm finally valuing myself enough to get out before it turns me into someone I never wanted to be.
Manager asked me what it would take to make me stay, after months of being overworked and underappreciated. No amount of money is enough at this point and I said as much.
Not got a backup plan or anything else lined up, though I do have enough in savings to survive for a couple months. Just want validation that I did the right thing and it's gonna be okay.
