Earlier in the month I posted my quit or be Fired dilemma. They gave me a week to think about my option. After talking to my family and thinking it over, I decided to quit. I'm getting 3 weeks severance, excellent references, rehire eligibility, unemployment -which they won't challenge.
It's one more week severance, and as my CEO brother said-“Ive been here before. they fucked up on the way they handled your religious discrimination, they fucked up your corrective action plan, and you would not only win your unemployment case, you'd settle for about 10 grand in court. But it would be drawn out, long, protracted and I promise any future employers would find out about the lawsuit and you'd never get hired again. Take the deal.”
So even though I want these MFs to suffer both financially and personally, I'm taking the deal. I'm tired, worried about money on unemployment and if I'll find a new job. I hope I will make it but anything's better than the bullying and toxic workplace their leaders created.
